Testing New Distance Monitoring Methods for Biodiversity Conservation in Three Key Biodiversity Areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Undertaking the first step towards conservation of associated wetland areas Neretva River, Trebižat, and Hutovo Blato is conducting primary research in the areas. The eDNA method will kick-start a novel way of researching rich biodiversity areas, enabling larger scope of faunal research in a shorter amount of time. A combination of traditional and novel methods of data gathering will set a necessary foundation for future protection and appropriate management of targeted areas.
