Description

Undertake research of the biodiversity of two of the most valuable and at the same time threatened karst fields (poljes) in the Mediterranean hotspot. Implemented actions towards national and international institutions to avoid and mitigate the impacts of Upper Horizons hydropower cascade that is under construction. Engage different civil society groups, scientists and other stakeholders in saving the endemic fish, amphibians, invertebrates, and other species, some of which recently described such as the critically endangered Dabarsko dace (Telestes dabar).
